The Beginning: A custom home built in the 1990s with a spacious floor plan, but an outdated kitchen. An arched window offers a view of the homeowner's charming English garden... the inspiration for the space.

The Design: Removing a half-wall and adding abundant architectural details—custom moldings, ceiling panels, and arched openings—improves flow and adds to the charm of this renovated kitchen. Soft colors in the painted cabinets pair with warm tones of the new wood flooring and island cabinetry. Forged iron light fixtures with woven metal shades create delicious "eye candy"over the island and sink.
