The Beginning: A spacious, open-plan, kitchen with a good functional layout that needed an extensive 'update' of finishes, textures, and architectural details.

The Concept: The over-all design plan was to add visual interest to the space by using a combination of painted and stained cabinets. A simple shaker style cabinet integrated with a deep crown moulding gives the kitchen a clean and classic look.
