Tuscan Blue Design partnered with the Downtown Frederick Partnership (a non-profit organization to promote businesses and events in downtown Frederick) on a new program, Mission Interior. Retail shops in historic downtown Frederick applied for grant assistance to update their shops. The grant provided funding plus interior design consulting to assist the shop owners through the design and construction process. We worked with two shops, The Candy Kitchen and the Pop Shop, providing design consulting and project management.

At the Pop Shop we focused on budget friendly design changes to create a fun and colorful interior.

• bringing in an accent wall color with red
• accent lighting in the sitting area
• cohesive product display
• cohesive signage throughout the shop
