We took a series of awkward rooms located in the back of a grand Victorian home and transformed them into this spacious, functional, detail filled kitchen/sunroom/butler’s pantry.

We contacted Meredith at Tuscan Blue Design after wrestling with how to update and open up the kitchen, breakfast room and butler’s pantry space in our 1895 Queen Anne home. Meredith immediately came in with fresh ideas that solved the difficulties we had encountered, and our project took off. We are thrilled with the space and must credit Meredith throughout, as she helped us finalize the floor plan, select all the elements of the kitchen cabinets, tile, and understood our interest in paying homage to the home by her attention to finishing details. The furnishings she recommended finished the space beautifully.
As the project moved on, we enlisted Meredith’s help in updating two bathrooms and freshening the furnishings in our living areas. She was very responsive to our desires to work with some existing pieces and clearly enjoys the challenge. The overall result reflects our eclectic taste for a comfortable living space that feels very welcoming to our guests.
